Full Job Description

  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a COMAH solvent distillation facility, implementing and ensuring adherence to safe systems of work on site.
  • Managing and leading a shift and day team, ensuring key targets are met and performance is managed.
  • Reporting and dealing with any non-compliant waste / products and any service, safety and environmental concerns.
  • Directing and Coordinating all operational aspects on site, particularly improvement projects and day to day operational activity.
  • Working closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to deliver robust engineering solutions to meet plant availability targets
  • Managing the site in line with the Veolia Minimum Requirements toolkit standard, environmental permit requirements, relevant ISO standards, VMS and any other relevant standards.

    NEBOSH general certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering,
  • Leadership level 6 or equivalent industry experience
  • Previous supervisory experience in managing a multidisciplinary team in a relevant industry
  • Experience operating within a COMAH environment, including regulatory compliance such as but not limited to DSEAR, LOLER, PUWER, PSSR
