Operations Manager

Z-Tech are recruiting an Operations Manager to join their senior management team, working closely with four other Business Unit Managers. This is an exciting and dynamic role, focused on overseeing the operational delivery within the water industry, offering a highly rewarding and fast-paced environment.

• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in maintenance contracts within critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline maintenance operatives ensuring efficient field operations.
• Proficiency in planning and recording maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems.
• In-depth understanding and application of CDM Regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
• Extensive experience working with regulated water utility companies, fostering strong client relationships.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional organisational abilities, demonstrated through effective resource planning and management.
• Adept at preparing maintenance reports, spares, and consumables reports, supporting contract managers as needed.
• Skilled in overseeing the management of spares and consumables to optimise maintenance operations.
• Capable of attending meetings with service managers and other stakeholders, contributing valuable insights and expertise.
• Proficient in preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure safe working practices.
Requirements:
• HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• NEBOSH
• SSSTS
• Holder of a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
