Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join the award-winning in-house food and beverage team, operating across unique and different spaces, with the prestige of delivering inside the world-famous Grade II listed Pavilion. You will manage the front of house team in the service delivery of a variety of events at Lord's including high profile dinners, conferences, weddings and receptions. This role will work closely with the Staffing Manager and the wider Food & Beverage Team to deliver service excellence. Additional core duties for this role include; assist with the training and development of the casual workforce to the required standards of operation with a view to delivering excellence and offering an enhanced customer experience, managing client tastings; liaising with the kitchen team over menus and service style; and ensuring standard operating procedures for all venues in the Ground are followed.,

    Experience in a front-of-house management, customer service role in events or hospitality, running high profile private dinners, conferences, weddings and receptions
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service focussed with a strong track record of leading and managing staff
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Detail oriented and solution based
  • Excellent planning and admin skills
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
