Ecclesiastical Insurance, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Real Estate team in our London office, with hybrid working. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service acting as part of the underwriting team, supporting Ecclesiastical's "right first time" approach to customer service. Within this successfully growing team, there are three Hubs where the candidate will manage & deliver the overall team's internal reporting processes.   • Lead the team to deliver corporate strategy
  • Plan, prioritise and manage individual and team workflow effectively to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring forecast demand is adequately resourced
  • Set and monitor team and individual service targets on an annual, weekly and daily basis to maximise team performance and meet objectives.
  • Manage individual performance of direct reports
  • Drive the delivery of retention KPIs while delivering profitability in line with or better than planned objectives
  • Support the delivery of outstanding business relationships with the delivery of outstanding service levels with new process's that maximise all financial matrices
  • Pro-actively support Business Development within the team for the delivery of objectives
  • Embed a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement, collaborating across the wider business
  • Ensure all Underwriting recruitment is managed against EIO's Underwriting authorities
  • Support the technical underwriter by arranging training etc.
  • Embed new systems and ways of working taking part in any ongoing projects

    ACII qualified or similar level qualifications, preferable
  • Experience of leading and managing operationally effective and successful teams in the insurance industry
  • Confident and influential communicator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • Experience of effective stakeholder management within a commercial environment
  • Experience of analysing data and MI reporting driving business outcomes
  • Demonstrable market and industry knowledge
  • Proven ability to coach for enhanced performance of others
