Operations Manager - Skanska Network Solutions

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Network Solutions team in London.

The purpose of the role is to professionally manage and organise the external market projects as part of the specialist Skanska Network Solutions Business. It will include overseeing a number of concurrent specialist contracts, liaising with main contractors and subcontract ensuring the implementation of project and production controls procedures are adhered to at all times. The role will include the accurate forecasting and reporting of monthly progress, out turn cost and revenue, ensuring accuracy and consistency drives improved profitability.

What you'll do:

• Represent the company at customer meetings, promote the correct company image and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities.


• Ensure accuracy and consistency within the commercial reporting process


• Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs.


• Ensure all design solutions (where applicable) offered by designers and sub-contractors fully comply with the project documentation and budget strategy


• Manage the trade contractors including the production of working drawings, procurement and performance on site.


• Ensure good communications within the project and regularly brief other team members, providing regular written reports to monitor performance
