Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join the newly developed One Coventry Integrated Team (OCIT) as an operations and performance manager, concentrating on all Urgent Emergency Care (UEC) elements of the integrated service has arisen.
OCIT comprises of 3 Local Integrated Teams (LITs) geographically based across the city. Local Integrated Teams (LITs) as part of the Improving Lives programme delivers integrated care that supports people in Coventry with urgent need ensure that the people in Coventry receive care in the community for as long as possible and only access care when necessary.
The Operations and performance manager role will lead on all Urgent Emergency Care (UEC) elements of OCIT including crisis response, consultant led pathways and clinical triage., 1. Work with the OCIT Lead and Local Integrated Team (LIT) managers to ensure clear communication and robust operational implementation of policy, business objectives and agreed targets across the Urgent Emergency Care (UEC) elements of OCIT.
2. Support the OCIT and LIT managers with the operational management of services and supporting continuous service improvement.
3. Responsible for day-to-day delivery of operational performance within assigned services to achieve delivery of national and local targets and the development and delivery of improvement plans for UEC.
4. Responsible for assigned budgets e.g. UEC clinicians and Patient Flow Coordinator.
5. Implement HR and governance strategies and policies within relevant services to achieve compliancy with Trust policies and procedures, best practice, relevant legislation and regulatory provisions.
6. Responsible for the improvement and delivery of utilisation targets by ensuring effective and efficient usage of service capacity including domiciliary visits and ad hoc clinics
7. Responsible for the management of staff/teams ensuring Mandatory Training, PDRs and absence are managed in line with Trust policies and procedures.
