Ferrero is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the exciting role of Operations Planner - Supply Chain. In this position, you will serve as an Operations Analyst, primarily focused on evaluating and enhancing the efficiency of our third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Your key responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for optimization to ensure streamlined supply chain operations and the implementation of cost-effective warehousing and logistics strategies. This role is pivotal in maintaining the effectiveness and efficiency of our supply chain processes., In the role of Operations Planner, you will embark on a journey to enhance the effectiveness of warehousing and logistics within our organization. Your adventure begins with closely monitoring inventory turnover rates and evaluating the efficiency of stock rotation.

Collaborating closely with the Stock Manager and our 3PL providers, you will develop and implement innovative strategies to improve these processes. Your vigilance will extend to overseeing the performance of return flows within our warehouses and scrutinizing the accuracy of order picking processes conducted by the 3PL providers. By analysing order fulfillment data, you will identify discrepancies or errors, collaborating with the Stock Manager and 3PL teams to rectify these issues and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will lend your expertise to support the Stock Manager in managing Idocs and aligning stock as needed.

You will also weave through the realms of cost control and analysis. As an adept supporter of the Operations Controllers, you will assist in reconciling and processing costs and invoices for services rendered. Your analytical skills will be crucial in examining the costs associated with 3PL services, including transportation, warehousing, and handling, ensuring that these expenses align with our financial strategies and budgetary constraints.

Further involve managing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). You will take charge of tracking our operational performance against agreed-upon KPIs, providing weekly and monthly reports to the team and key stakeholders, narrating the story of our operational success and areas for improvement.

The chapter of continuous improvement in your role is characterised by a proactive approach to collecting data and intelligence to identify risks and opportunities within our warehouse and logistical processes. Your business acumen will guide you in understanding the needs of our growing business, working with current and future suppliers to devise cost-effective solutions that do not compromise on quality or service. Through continual process reviews supported by root cause analysis, you will drive significant enhancements in our operations.

Lastly, your role is pivotal in fostering robust relationships and engaging with stakeholders across various levels of the organization. You will establish and maintain strong connections with key contacts across the 3PLs to support the performance of contracts, ensuring a consistent flow of information regarding the delivery of current and future services and strategies. This engagement will ensure that all plans are aligned with stakeholder expectations, paving the way for a collaborative and efficient operational environment.
