Full Job Description
- Processing engine components through several special process functions controlled by the OEM (Overhaul Engine Manual) & SPM (Standard Practices Manual)
- Delivering a quality product on time to internal and external customers
- Ensuring production flow is maintained at all times
- Working in accordance with the company's quality procedure and national / international aviation regulations
- Following strict EHS guidelines in all aspects of shop floor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure effective processes are used in a timely manner which supports their operations
- Willingness to operate collaboratively with all departments The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping in line with the business 5S standards.
- Ensuring adherence to standard work targets in order to meet the overall business Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.
- Embedding continuous improvement activities into their daily standard work to facilitate business progression.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively interpret detailed formal work instructions - Team player with flexible approach and a positive attitude
- The willingness and ability to follow an effective training plan in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability Desired Characteristics:
- Experience working in a large-scale production / materials and warehousing environment
- Previous working knowledge of SAP or an equivalent ERP system
- A demonstrable desire to learn and grow with advances in technology
- A good understanding of Lean tools and working practices
