Full Job Description

We are currently looking for an Operations Team Member to work within our wet press and blaster department at Ramsbottom. This position will be predominantly based on a three-shift system, 12-hour days and nights (06:00am - 6:00pm) including 6 hours on Saturday morning, completing a total of 42-hours per week.

You will be a safety conscious individual with a proactive approach to all aspects of safety, health, environmental and quality issues.
Working within a busy and increasingly productive department.
Operating wet press, shot-blast machinery or mobile plant aiming for optimum production outputs.
Working flexibility (covering breaks, smooth shift handovers etc.)
Communication skills (shift handovers, liaise with maintenance / team managers and being involved in daily Operational machine reviews with the management team).
Proactive with a "can do" attitude.
Computer literate.
What we would like you to bring to our team:
A knowledge of current health & safety regulations would be advantageous but is not essential.
Previous experience in working in a busy but controlled manufacturing / production environment.
Press department experience (preferred but not essential).
A team player with an eye for detail.
Current accredited FLT licence (preferred but not essential).
Good communication skills.
Flexibility of shift rotation or nightshift experience.
