Operations Technician

As a Senior Operations Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient operations at our plant, while complying with environmental legislation. Monitor, control, and assess plant processes, swiftly resolving any issues that arise. Take charge of water tube boilers and maintain their optimal performance. Additionally, you'll be responsible for system isolation to guarantee plant safety, when needed.

Your role will be on 12 hours shift basis, both, days, and nights- equivalent of 37.5 averaged and annualized hours. Great opportunity with time off in between the shifts!

You might be asked to help to cover for a colleague, or to attend a specific training, however you will be properly compensated with 1.5x overtime rate, increasing to 2x on Sundays and night shifts, and to 3x on bank holidays.

+ Familiarity with boilers, combustion, process control, and relevant health & safety/environmental legislation.
+ Familiarity with DCS System.
+ Preferred certifications: BOAS Cert IBO and NEBOSH working safely qualification. Don't worry if you don't have them all; we'll invest in your development from day one!

In return, we offer a salary of £40,125 - £44,447, plus 20% Shift Allowance (~ £8,889), up to 10% Bonus (~ £4,444), Company Pension, and benefits catalogue
Total Package at the time of joining up to £57,780.
