Full Job Description

The primary function of this role is to perform any activity related to the end-to-end return and processing of customer's loan kit consignments. This includes inspection of short-term consignments, assembly of loan kits for short term consignment, demonstration, or long-term customer consignments. This could also include ordering internal requisitions, executing BOM updates, supporting re-use of kit inventory, tracking/ measuring statistics with a continuous improvement mindset of the kit operation . The Senior operative is expected to manage their daily workload and tasks, report activity to the appropriate channels to include their manager, Asset, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial partners The senior operative will be expected to support the loan kit operation by performing any activity related to the end- to-end assembly, return and inspection process of customers kit and consignment across 1 or more franchises/ business divisions. The common objective is to provide "Best in class" service to our internal and external customers and maintaining well performing kits. The Senior operative will ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction and experience to both internal and external customers. This includes identifying and supporting continuous improvement efforts and engagement in process improvements to enhance the service to our customers using Lean/ Continuous Improvement tools." Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance and Financial Reporting standards/ regulations are applied and followed.
  • Ensure kits are being processed according to agreed procedures and European control documents/ standard
  • procedures.
  • Perform Receipt & inspection of kits (sterile and non-sterile) daily across 1 or more franchises/ business divisions,
  • according to the schedule of outgoing shipments; manage emergencies to prioritize urgent kits and kits that need to go to technical service for technical check.
  • Manage entire lifecycle of Long-Term Consignment kit assemblies including build, ship, return, inspect/ complete and
  • decommissioning activities within Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system. This will include supporting 1 or more franchises/ business divisions, according to the schedule of outgoing shipments These activities could also include European kits and local kits built following the Purchase Order process, exchanges, defective parts, late or lost deliveries, repairs, missing items, parts damaged during transportation, credit research, quality returns etc.
  • Assemble kit assemblies according to specified bill of materials configuration; including sterile and non-sterile kits;
  • for the loaner fleet (short term consignments), long term consignments, demonstration, and education. Ensure product storage conditions after kit build support best-in-class customer delivery.
  • Support achievement of all agreed departmental KPIs daily
  • Follow kit decommission process to minimize impact on cost and maximize kit rotation.
  • Manage open work-in-process orders to guarantee an effective replenishment process, to reduce waiting to
  • completion time as much as possible;
  • Follow up promptly on Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance department requests including product hold requests
  • Physical quality check of both instruments and implants and comparison to configuration documents
  • Generate accurate billing information and pass to Booking Team for invoicing
  • Support investigation of customer complaints/ non-conformances or deviations identified in loan kit shipments.
  • Perform inputs via computer interface to machine learning/ automated robotics inspection technology that supports visual instrumentation inspection process Maintain proper documentation in accordance with Stryker procedures Supporting report outs of kit build activities to stakeholders Kit handling checks of newly built kits/ instrumentation- includes condition checks, shipment material, cleaning routine and documents. Could also include washing of used instrument kits/ items in automated decontamination machine where applicable (as defined by the legal manufacturer). Perform loan kit conversions/ decommission in Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system and update all supporting documentations. o "Writing" of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags into Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) system Collaborate with kit planners, asset managers, product managers, and other appropriate stakeholders. Review kit rotation and stock analysis to ensure
  • inventory management.
  • Manage back-to-back and work-in-progress (WIP) orders. Support inventory management actions including management of kits in excess locations. Research consignment inventory information in appropriate software system Pick used instrument items to support improvement of reusability metric based on requirement defined by asset team Ensure correct kit creation, kit inspection, kit completion, while paying attention to the customer request date and shipping method. Support with regular fleet review processes in collaboration with marketing, asset management and kit booking/ planning teams Support internal and external BSI ISO 9001 audits with documentation and ad hoc analysis on specific key processes."

    Essential:
  • High School/ Diploma / GSCE's (or equivalent) Desired: Further Education i.e. College or University - English speaking (Professional Working Proficiency in English communication) Experience Essential:
  • Minimum 3years of previous work experience within logistics/ warehouse environment from within Stryker or
  • equivalent industry.

  • Experience of working to tight deadlines.

  • Can demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills
  • Must be IT literate and efficient in an administrative environment. Well versed in Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge of Operations management processes & general logistics
  • Experience of the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, healthcare or other regulated industry "
  • Desirable: - Demonstrated expertise in all kit operations support activities (kit receiving, replenishment and outbound processes) - Previous experience using Enterprise Resource Program systems (ERP) in similar role - Previous experience inspecting manufactured goods or assembling instrumentation gained from within a manufacturing/ logistics process. - Previous experience conducting dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies, final systems assemblies or instrumentation. Prior knowledge of interpreting prints and bill-of-materials lists in approving or rejecting in-process, final assemblies or instrumentation."
