We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join the Operations and Maintenance Team in Leyland! We are currently seeking Process Operatives, Night Cleaners, and Mobile Plant Relief Operatives to join our team. Interested in learning more about these roles? Attend our Recruitment Event on Tuesday 3rd December 2024 by applying below., The Process Operative will be responsible for the general process activities associated with the waste facility processing operations, site wide cleaning and general site work related activities. The Night Cleaner will be responsible for processing asset cleaning and general cleaning activities within all operational areas of site and waste recovery park areas in general. The Mobile Plant Relief Operative will be responsible for the safe undertaking of mobile plant activities within the waste processing operation, and as and when required, support the mobile plant team and for all other general process operative activities associated with processing operations and the general site. Certain positions require mobile plant licenses, and we will share more details about each role on the recruitment day. Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the Lancashire Waste Contract. Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual (black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill.
