Full Job Description

An opportunity is available for an Operator in the Somerset Major Projects team based at either our Weston-super-Mare.or Radstock depot.

As an operator you will assist a Craftsperson with the construction, maintenance, replacement and repair of assets up to and including 132kV., Your work will involve being away from the depot, normally working in a team of two people.

The working environment requires quick, decisive and responsible actions to meet the demands of the role. You will need to be flexible in your approach to assist the team in meeting it's objectives.

You will ideally have some experience in the electrical field however all necessary training will be provided.

To apply, you will need to hold English & Maths GCSE (1-9 / G-A

  • ) or equivalent qualification deemed to be at the same level in these subjects, such as Functional Skills., You will need to be mobile throughout the area therefore a driving licence is essential. You may also be required to undertake out of hours standby duties.
