Full Job Description

We are looking for an versatile, enthusiastic and hardworking Band 4 Associate Practitioner / Nursing Associate with a great team spirit to join our nursing team in the outpatients' department on the Lincoln site. This role is rewarding and varied and you will be joining a large outpatient team and will be working alongside our already established assistant practitioner.

The Ophthalmic clinic works across a 7-day working week, covering an on call service at the weekends and on bank Holidays., You will be working as part of a large team seeing over 100 patients a day. Your tasks will vary from testing visual acuity and eye pressures to using state of the art technology for Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Ophthalmic photography. There will be opportunities to assist during intravitreal injections and minor surgeries.
