Ophthalmic Imager & System Specialist (OVS Practitioner Specialist)

The post holder must ensure the provision of the technical Ophthalmic Imaging environment is in-line with both the needs across all of our clinical and research areas and in line with trusts digital strategy. They will need to dynamically identify the operational needs in clinical practice and work with the Ophthalmic teams and MDTs to provide responsive support to these needs. The post holder will be required to undertake both routine clinical duties and education/training duties on a regular basis, to ensure the quality of service is maintained and continually understood. The post holder will be responsible for the Ophthalmic Imaging technical estate including - COL, mediSIGHT and system support team - also including administrative duties.

The post holder will be working within the Gloucestershire Ophthalmic Imaging team based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital NHSFT with some travel across the county on request.
