Ophthalmic Technician- Team Leader

A new exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who wants to lead a team of ophthalmic technicians and enhance the knowledge and skills in the Medical Retina Diagnostic Hub at a world leading eye hospital., The post holder will be required to work effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team providing leadership to the technicians working in the Medical Retina Diagnostic Hub. You will also have a responsible to line manage a group of ophthalmic technicians.

As a team leader you will be expected to assist in education and training of the junior staff. You should be able to teach and confidently perform visual acuities, intraocular pressure testing and all retinal fundus imaging, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), OCT wide-field/anterior segment imaging, OCT-Angiography, visual fields testing and any other tests deemed necessary.
