Full Job Description

The post holder is required to provide a clerical service within the Treatment Centre, ensuring that the professional and caring image of the Trust is maintained at all times.

The post will involve a combination of patient contact (face to face and on the telephone), consultant and staff enquiries and a range of clerical duties intended to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Treatment Centre Administration Department.

Reliability, flexibility and a good team spirit are essential to the role.

This role is for the Eye Clinic Reception role Thursday and Friday 8am-4 : 30pm, plus Front of House Reception on a Saturday morning 8am-1pm.

Main duties of the job

  • Predominantly working on Eye Clinic Reception prepping and ordering notes.

  • Following up on patients who did not attend their appointments.

  • Booking in patients and checking demographics.

  • To liaise with nursing staff, consultants, and other colleagues.

  • Varied day to day tasks.

    Good standard of English to GCSE (9-4 or A-C) or equivalent RSA / OCR level 3 or equivalent knowledge and skills
