Full Job Description

Outpatient services offers a full range of care to the patients of the Western Eye Hospital/Diagnostic Hub. Providing a comprehensive range of general and specialist ophthalmic facilities and is equipped with some of the most advanced diagnostic and technical equipment currently available. The Western Eye Hospital forms part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in the heart of Paddington, an area which is set to become one of the capitals most attractive and vibrant centres. In this role you will assist in providing the best possible care to patients with a wide range of ophthalmic conditions. You will have the opportunity to work in all the outpatient departments with scope to work in other areas of the Hospital. You will develop useful skills, learning and practicing many of the diagnostic tests.,

  • To provide under supervision, essential assistance and support to registered nurses in the delivery of direct patient care, ensuring that patient needs remain at the core of our care delivery approach.
  • To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any area as requested within the Western Eye Hospital/Diagnostic Hub.
  • To improve the patient experience.
