Are you a team orientated experienced optical assistant looking for a exciting new role within a dynamic company? If yes apply ASAP!

Role details

You could be:

Greeting customers at the door as they enter the shop

Helping customers select the correct frame for their lenses

Measuring the frames and ensure they fit perfectly

Ordering prescription glasses and contact lenses in for the customer

Making follow up appointments for customers

Making adjustments to the frames when the customer collects their glasses

Carrying out pre-screening tests such as retinal imaging and pressure and visual field testing

Explaining offers and products to customers

Taking payments from customers.

This leading optical and hearing company are looking for experienced optical assistant to work within this friendly team orientated practice.

Working within a team of 4 you must be customer focused with a clear emphasis on quality of service to all patients., MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING IN AN OPTICIANS

A good understanding of English and Maths.

Basic IT skills will be required.

Relevant experience in a customer service or retail role would be an advantage, and may be necessary.

Experience working in a retail environment would be useful.

Pay rates vary, depending on:

Pay is dependent upon experience and overall skill set and can be discussed with both HPC consultant and at interview stage.

Work Environment

You would usually work 5 days out of 7 including some late evenings and weekends.

You would wear a uniform.

Pay: £15,452.00-£22,000.00 per year
