And once you've found your feet as an Optical Assistant, you won't just have to stop there. We have plenty of professional training and development in other business areas, as well as the support of experienced Opticians and Technicians supporting you on your journey. Optical Assistant roles at Specsavers are now even more rewarding. Join us and complete a nationally recognised qualification equivalent to a Level 3 BTEC to accelerate your optical career. The course improves knowledge and understanding of dispensing procedures and provides a stepping stone to the roles of DO, CLO and beyond! What we're looking for:

• Previous retail optical experience is essential - you must be able to dispense at all levels
• Someone who listens to patients, and gives good clear advice
• Confident at pre-screening
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times, playing a valuable part of a customer journey & successful retail team
