The Options Coordinator will be responsible for managing all customer options in the Business Unit. The will set up the Options Online system to process orders for new developments, coordinate with Sales Executives to ensure customer options are ordered at the correct stage, and liaise with local suppliers and contractors to ensure customer options are fitted correctly and to the highest possible standard. The role also includes regular contact and communication with the Options department in Head Office for national guidance and updates.

What you will do:

  • Works with the National Options Manager to ensure that the Options range within the Business Unit meets with customer need and expectation across a range of demographic locations and customer profiles.

  • Conducts a regular review of market trends, customer needs and the competitor upgrade offering making recommendations to ensure our Options proposition is competitive - strong, compelling, distinctive, and differentiated.

  • Conducts research with customers who have completed to understand needs and identify opportunities to improve or extend the proposition.

  • Applies the National tiered specification to each site, monitoring and driving compliance, ensuring it is appropriate to the demographic profile specific to each development.

  • Works with BU (Business Unit) Sales and Commercial functions to ensure pricing is competitive and aligned to the National pricing strategy and revenues, margins and volumes across all categories are maximised.

  • Generates regular reporting monitoring the use of Optional upgrades as an incentive, makes recommendation for improvement in range, volume by category, revenue, and margin.

  • Works with the National Options Manager to support the trials, launch of new products, and facilitates briefing and training to Business Unit Sales teams.

  • Drives Business Unit compliance to standard range and supports submission of the dispensation and approvals process where alternative products are required.

  • Facilitates regular communication within the Business Unit to ensure sales teams have the knowledge, marketing material, tools and skills including Sales Information Centre selection and display to effectively sell Options upgrades.

  • Liaise with local suppliers and contractors to ensure customer options are fitted correctly and finished to a high standard

  • Input to and maintain Options Online system within Business Unit and conducts new site set-up on Options Online., The type of checks made will depend on the role in question but may include any or all the following

  • Criminal records (DBS);

  • Credit reference

  • DVLA
