About the store Specsavers in Minehead is an established business that sits in a prominent position on the main high street and is firmly embedded within the local community. The store pride themselves in ensuring that every one of their customers receives an excellent patient experience. For the last few years, the store has been run by a Sole Optometry Partner, Paul Bradford, however due to ever increasing market share and local demand, we are now looking to introduce an additional Optometry Partner to work alongside. The business is one of the strongest performers and most profitable in the region. Paul has a wealth of history in the industry. Trustee of DevonInSight. Paul was also the first accredited Optometrist for Peer review in the UK. A tight knit team of 10 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home. Paul is really passionate about the clinical development and future proofing of the team through a clear pre reg plan, and as the new Optometry Director you would have the scope to advise on training requirements, introduce new specialisms and build/shape the team further as required. Store location Minehead is a beautiful coastal town and civil parish in Somerset, England. It lies on the south bank of the Bristol Channel, 21 miles north-west of the county town of Taunton, 12 miles from the border with the county of Devon and in proximity of the Exmoor National Park. Requirements of the role Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this successful store. As the new Optometry Partner, you'll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You'll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community.
