Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our CIS (Corporate Information Solutions) Autonomous Finance Team team at Marsh. This role will be based in London . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This is not a developer role; you will provide key front-end application support and assistance related to our vast & complex financial Oracle Financials apps across Marsh McLennan (MMC). Working closely with internal teams and external clients, we will look for you to troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide guidance, and ensure the smooth operation of our Oracle Financials systems. We will count on you to :

  • Provide functional and technical support and assistance to internal clients using Oracle Financials, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system functionality, configuration, and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Also, collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to escalate and resolve issues that require their expertise.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Oracle Financials, staying up-to-date with the latest features, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of Oracle Financials systems, ensuring proper setup and integration with other systems.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Oracle Financials systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles, to support end-users and internal teams.

    Functional support experience for Oracle Financial applications or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of or experience in front-end Oracle Financials, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, I-procurement, iExpenses, Order Management, Purchasing, Purchasing, Payables, and Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS)
  • Strong understanding of SQL for effective data analysis & troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
