BE AN ESSENTIAL PART OF EVERYDAY LIFE Position: Oracle Senior Functional Support Analyst Customer: DHL Supply Chain Grade: RCS K Contract Type: Full Time (Permanent) Location: Remote (UKI) - Regular travel to Milton Keynes Join our dynamic team as we embark on a global program to migrate all countries and users from R12 to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Finance. We are currently seeking a talented Oracle Senior Finance Applications Functional Support expert with a strong background in Oracle Financials (AP, AR, CM, FA & GL) and Procurement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to system Functional configuration management and issue resolution. The key responsibilities for an Oracle Senior Functional Support Analyst are:

  • Primary point of contact with Oracle financial users to record, resolve and escalate issues (financial/procurement functional) within global Oracle Financial systems whilst at the same time adhering to agreed service level agreements, working in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Working as part of a globally distributed team supporting users in circa. 50 countries.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Finance and E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 (v12.2.9, v12.2.5 & v12.1.3).
  • ServiceNow ITSM
  • Communicate with users and 3^rd party vendors to resolve issues effectively and efficiently with the Oracle Financial systems.
  • Communicating with users regarding issue tickets/system changes/downtime.
  • Continually working towards service improvements and efficiencies.
  • Resolution of Level 1/2/3 Oracle Finance issue tickets as per SLA.
  • Following System Administration procedures and protocols.
  • Full life cycle management of allocated Oracle projects.
  • Problem solving and solution provider within areas of expertise.
  • Creation and the adhering to all relevant procedures / processes.
  • Knowledge sharing and support of your peers.
  • Keep up to date with the specialist knowledge of all Oracle modules for current and future developments within the Oracle Software suite.

  • 5+ years knowledge and experience, primarily in the Functional Support for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials and Procurement, but also EBS R12 (v12.2.9; v12.2.5 & v12.1.3) Financials and Procurement
  • Highly experienced in call to ticket resolution utilising a helpdesk ITSM escalation platform - ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL
  • Extensive working experience within a customer facing business IT support environment.
  • Experience of working under pressure to strict deadlines and prioritising workload
  • Working collaboratively as part of a globally distributed high performing support team
  • Outstanding organisational skills, in particular communicating and monitoring key issues through full life cycle.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to do so at all levels, both internally and externally with users, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Working in a highly pressured environment and the ability to prioritise in such.
  • Highly competent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve a range of problems
  • Highly competent in the use of MS Office suite/Outlook.
