Full Job Description

You will be required to work in North, Central or South Manchester in a wide variety of locations and settings. Working as part of a small team whoare passionate about improving health and well-being of local communities. The job purpose is to engage with children and young people'seducational settings to meet the key performance indicators the service is commissioned to meet. You will be expected to travel to variouslocations across the city. You will work with colleagues from dental practice, local authorities, social care, education, NHS and voluntary sectororganisations.

The post holder will assist with the development and implementation of complex, high value projects and initiatives, taking direct responsibility forprogramme development, delivery and administrative procedures. Co-ordinate resources effectively, ensure project documentation is preparedand shared in accordance with project timetables and deadlines. The post holder will coordinate with colleagues in staffing, finance and ICT andbeyond. Ensure that change management is supported effectively by working with relevant programme teams and key stakeholders in pursuit ofthe project objectives., Main duties of the jobo Travel to various health, social care and educational settings across Manchester.o Implement evidence based interventions in-line with the service specification for Manchester.o Collaborate and work in partnership, developing and strengthening professional working relationships to improve health outcomes.o Embed oral health promotion into the agenda's and policies of Health, Social Care, Sure Start, Schools and Early Years settings acrossManchester.o Improve or maintain the oral health of older and vulnerable people residing in nursing, residential and care settings.o Facilitate and deliver training courses in own area of expertiseo Improve the oral health status of the 0-19 age population residing in Manchester.o The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and support other organisational priorities as necessary.
