Full Job Description

As part of the HR Division, your primary focus will be delivering impactful people change initiatives, from small-scale enhancements to complex, strategic change programs involving multiple stakeholders. Using a systematic approach, you will integrate elements such as culture, capability, structures, systems, values, and behaviours to drive performance and enhance the employee experience at the University.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in developing and coordinating people initiatives within large, complex organisations. You should be adept at adopting flexible and tailored change management and engagement strategies suited to the specific needs of each project. This requires applying a diverse range of specialist skills, knowledge, and expertise to deliver the right solutions, from initial concept to operational implementation and the realisation of benefits. A logical and pragmatic approach to managing change is essential. You will need to communicate and collaborate effectively with senior leadership, external partners, and individuals at all levels of the University. Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, analysing findings, generating options, and building consensus and commitment to solutions. Candidates should hold a degree or equivalent vocational qualification and demonstrate a strong track record of delivering successful strategic people change projects and supporting major organisational change. The ability to influence, build, and maintain relationships to achieve results in a complex environment is crucial. You must also have up-to-date knowledge of best practices and theory in organisational development and design, change management, and culture development.
