Full Job Description

The Organisational Development (OD) Officer role is a vital development position within our Organisational Development department, designed to support and contribute to the broad spectrum of OD initiatives and activities, that underpin the UHCW People Strategy.

As a developmental role, it offers the unique opportunity for individuals to immerse themselves in the dynamic field of OD, providing foundational support in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of OD strategies and interventions aimed at enhancing organisational health and performance, culture, and employee engagement.

Ideal candidates for this position are those who are passionate about personal and professional growth, with a keen interest in contributing to the development and implementation of innovative OD solutions. This role serves as a stepping stone for individuals looking to build a career in OD, offering hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to a variety of OD processes and projects., As a foundational role within the Organisational Development (OD) Team, the Band 5 OD Officer supports the implementation and coordination of OD activities in alignment with the UHCW People Strategy.

This developmental position offers the chance to gain specialist knowledge and hands-on experience in OD practices, contributing to the enhancement of organisational culture, leadership development, and team performance. The OD Officer will work under the guidance of senior OD professionals to support various OD interventions and projects, promoting effective change management and continuous improvement within the organisation.

  • The post holder, with direction and support from the Organisational Development Manager and Team will contribute by:

    oScoping requirements

    oIdentifying and analysing issues and problems

    oDesigning, developing, and implementing/facilitating interventions/projects

    oEvaluating impact and outcomes

    oReporting and reflecting on outcomes
