Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a small friendly team undertaking reception and administrative duties for both the Outpatient and Minor Injuries departments.

If you have good customer service, communication and administrative skills and are flexible in your approach we would love to hear from you.

We work together as a team to assist and support services users, with in a professional and compassionate manner.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

To act as a first point of contact on the telephone or face to face, for patients, carers, visitors and other healthcare and service professionals, providing a positive and responsive point of contact on behalf of the Trust.

To operate the telephone system and direct calls to relevant staff members, also deal with enquiries efficiently, taking accurate messages and disseminating them to the relevant person.

The post will require the utilisation of good clerical, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
