Full Job Description

Working on a daily basis to input coded outpatient activity onto the Trust PAS from clinical source documentation. Maintain effective processes enabling information to be made available to the department and others within defined timescales and thereby ensuring National Tariff Payment System deadlines are met., The Clinical Coding Department is part of the wider Finance function, the Coding Department is split across two hospital sites - The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
The Coding Team must work towards strict monthly deadlines, which at times can be challenging.

Along with your GCSE's including English and Maths (or equivalent), we require the post holder to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to be well organised and have a professional, positive attitude.
