The Outpatient Hysteroscopy Nurse Specialist isan experienced registered nurse with specialist skills to assess and treatpatients and manage the clinical environment, in liaison with the managementand consultant team., The nurse will actas an autonomous practitioner, in forming clinical decisions and complexmanagement plans in the assessment and treatment of patients. In conjunctionwith senior nursing and consultant staff, the Nurse will formulate thedevelopment of clinical guidelines for all aspects of clinical practice withinthe clinical speciality., The post holderwill work closely with the interdisciplinary team and collaborate withcolleagues to ensure that high-quality patient care is maintained The OutpatientHysteroscopy Gynaecology Nurse Specialist will undertake community clinicsproviding the following outpatient appointments :

• Shelf Pessary
• Ring Pessary
• Mirena non contraceptive purposes
• Polyp Removal
• Endometrial Biopsy
• Upper / Lower Genital

• NMC Registered Adult Nurse
Experience Essential
• Band 6 / 7 Gynaecology / Hysteroscopy Nurse experience
• Minimum 2 years as Gynaecology nurse
