Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Westmoreland Street Outpatients department to join the team as an Outpatient Clinic Coordinator and Urology pre assessment clinic coordinator.The post holder will actively manage the administrative processes attached to the pre assessment pathway at Westmoreland Street and ensure a smooth and efficient service is delivered to the pre assessment team, surgical teams, and patients. The post holder will have a strong focus on delivering a positive patient experience, and excellent customer service.Both written and verbal excellent communication skills are expected along with experience of maintaining databases and confidence in using Excel. The role requires someone who is proactive, willing to take ownership and accountability, and able to manage a high-volume workload.

It is a full-time post working alongside an admin team and providing support to the multidisciplinary clinical teams at Westmoreland Street. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual who demonstrates knowledge and skills with a focus on maintaining and achieving positive patient experience. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves working closely within a multidisciplinary team. Good organisational and communication skills, flexibility, accuracy, and the ability to work autonomously, with attention to detail, within a busy environment are key attributes. A good working knowledge of Excel is crucial to this role. The post holder will be a team player who must promote and contribute towards achieving the Trust's UCLH top ten objectives, and demonstrate our Trust Values, behaviours and standards.
