Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to manage the day-to-day running of the Outpatient Department under the supervision of the Service Manager. Duties will include the safe and effective management of the clinic rooms within the department, line managing the established administration team, appraisal process, and lead on sickness management. This position will also require the successful candidate to support patients within the department navigate their journey through their Outpatient experience. The role will additionally involve liaising, and networking with multiple specialties within the hospital, initiating and scrutinising data, and providing support to the wider team with troubleshooting, and problem solving.

We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, and forward-thinking individual to join our expansive Outpatients Department, in the role of Team leader. Applicants will have a strong background within administration, with relevant knowledge of healthcare/NHS, undergraduate and/or post graduate education. You will need to be extremely customer focused, confident, organised, and an enthusiastic team player.
