Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Powys Teaching Health Board Planned Care Outpatient Team.
The post holder will work as a member of the Nursing Team under the direction and supervision of the Senior Sister to ensure a high standard of nursing care and safety for all patients or service users within the Out-Patients department.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to the assessment of care needs, theimplementation and evaluation of programmes of care, participating andcontributing to the wider clinical governance agenda including servicedevelopment and flexible working to meet the needs of the patients andservice.
This will include specialist skills in ENT, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology,Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Podiatry, Rheumatology and Urology patientassessment. You will work in a multidisciplinary and multi-agency arenaalongside other members of the primary and community teams. There is also a requirement to supervise junior staff and regularly work without direct supervision of a qualified nurse.
