Full Job Description
This role supports the day-to-day operations team in manufacturing a wide variety of products to support a busy fast paced low batch high mix manufacturing capability within the aerospace interiors spares business. What you will do:
- Oversee and manage OSP orders coming into and out of the business via accurate reporting.
- Facilitate order book reviews with Vendor base.
- Monitor lead time accuracy by vendor is aligned to demand.
- Supplier billing/invoice resolution and creating and processing purchase orders
- Weekly OSP order book management reviews
- Expediting requests for OSP vendor base and develop vendor service tracking mechanisms and metrics to improve inventory efficiencies.
- Encourage, support and lead a continuous improvement mindset within the Operations planning team Preferred Skills
- Two years of related experience in supply chain or planning environment or manufacturing background is highly desirable.
- Must have proficient computer skills including ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in strong business development and strategic planning skills
- Solid understanding of statistics and financial analysis with excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Demonstrates ability to handle a variety of tasks and multiple priorities
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
