Full Job Description

We have a new, exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to the CEO to join our team at Purple Oak Support in Andover, on a full time, permanent basis! Have you got strong administration and organisation skills? Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference to the lives of people in your local community? If so, we can't wait to hear from you! Job Opportunity, This new position will play a key role in helping Purple Oak Support to run smoothly! You'll act as the first point of contact for our CEO, handing all queries professionally and confidentially. Your typical tasks will include:

  • Proactively managing the CEO's diary including scheduling meetings providing reminders and booking travel
  • Support for the Board of Trustee meetings and Leadership Team meetings respectively, including drafting agendas, collating papers and reports, minute taking and following up on action points
  • Assist in the planning of key organisational events including the Annual General Meeting
  • Draft routine letters to a high standard, minute meetings, taking messages and other administrative tasks required to support the CEO
  • Maintain (and develop as required) various databases, including, but not limited to, our: membership database, permissions database, social media database and any other relevant tracking documents
  • Assist the Leadership Team in managing our social media platforms including the marketing of fundraising initiatives. Liaising with department leaders to gain relevant information in order to create engaging social media content in text, image and video formats that will sustain the curiosity of our targeted audiences
  • Create professional documents including posters, leaflets, booklets, infographics, newsletters and videos for internal and external audiences
  • Providing reception cover at The Wellington Centre as requested by the CEO

  • To be successful in this role you'll need to:
  • have experience in providing administrative support
  • be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail
  • have good IT skills including Microsoft Office and be able to pick up new software with ease
