The Role
Edgbaston College wishes to appoint a PA to the Principal, who will also act as a receptionist in our small sixth form. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for the Principal, providing efficient and proactive support.
The appointed applicant will have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. They will also have the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, parents and external stakeholders.
This is a permanent position for someone who can deliver high quality exemplary customer service, model positive partnerships and deliver an unrivalled first impression to all visitors to the college.
Job Requirements
As PA to the Principal & Receptionist, you'll be required to:
· Support the Principal & have responsibility for managing daily administrative tasks, compliance, and school policies, as well as coordinating a variety of logistical needs.
· Efficiently manage visitor registration, ensuring accurate sign-in procedures and issuance of appropriate badges.
· Foster and maintain positive relationships with parents, students, and staff.
· Handle and address parental inquiries over the phone, directing calls to relevant personnel as needed.
· Conduct daily student registration for classes, maintaining precise records and updating the Engage software system.
· Receive and appropriately distribute deliveries at the reception.
