Full Job Description
We are pleased to offer a vacancy for a full time PAAS Trainer to work within the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. This is a secondment for 12 months.
As part of the post you will prepare and deliver high quality training within all areas across the Patient Access and Administration Service and also prepare and deliver high quality induction training for all new starters, including the systems and processes used within the Patient Access and Administration Service and relevant to their role.
You will maintain and update all training packages to be delivered in accordance with policy and process change, assist in supporting the Single Model and working towards business as usual activities and provide advice and guidance to users in all areas across the Patient Access & Administration Service., · To assist in planning, developing and implementing an appropriate training programme to meet the needs of PAAS and to review and update the training programme as required
· To produce quality and up to date course materials using a variety of methods
· Shadow users/monitor dashboards to identify gaps in system knowledge to provide feedback to management team
· Deliver training in a classroom/Microsoft Teams setting and/or on a one to one basis
· To ensure candidates reach the required standard as outlined within the lesson plan in order for an assessment to be carried out
· Where appropriate provide advice and guidance regarding departmental processes during training sessions
· To monitor the progress of candidates within training sessions and provide feedback to their line management.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of own training using relevant evaluation methods
· To assist with process redesign to ensure that it is incorporated into training guidance and update SOPs
