Full Job Description

Act as first point of contact for the pacemaker and ICD service and deal effectively and courteously with all enquires from GPs, patients and other departments within the service and within the overall trust.
Prioritise workload, working on own initiative to ensure patients are seen in a timely fashion and in line with trust policies in respect of the Access targets.
Manage the appointments system on Allscripts PAS and Sunrise for all cardiac device follow up bookings in line with Trust and local booking times. Ensure all patients are managed as per Trust Assess policy.
Monitor on a weekly basis the demand for follow ups including remote monitoring, against the capacity available. Proactively manage waiting lists and ensure all available appointment slots are fully utilised by monitoring requests for annual leave and general availability of technical staff., Please scroll down to access the full Job Description and Person Specification located in 'Documents to download'.
