  • Data Management: Ensure that medical imaging data is managed and accessed efficiently, enhancing workflows for clinical staff, and maintaining the accuracy of patient records.
  • System Maintenance and Upgrades: Liaise with external vendors and internal IT teams to coordinate and oversee system changes, upgrades, and testing. Ensure smooth transitions during these processes to maintain system integrity and introduce new features that enhance functionality.
  • Clinical Workflow Optimization: Work closely with clinical teams to identify opportunities to enhance workflows and processes. Use your understanding of clinical systems and healthcare delivery to optimise these systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the staff and improve patient care outcomes.
  • Data Exchange: Oversee the exchange of clinical data, including the operational management of the hospital's Image Exchange Portal (IEP), ensuring that radiology workflows are streamlined and that data is transmitted securely and efficiently.
  • Project Management: Support the Head of Applications in the delivery of IT and application-based projects. Contribute to project planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring that projects are aligned with organisational goals and enhance clinical service delivery.
