Our Emergency Department and co-located Urgent Care Centre treated more than 110,000 patients in the last year. 25% were treated in our dedicated Paediatric Emergency Department which operates 24/7. We provide high quality emergency care and give structured support and development to all our nurses. Our latest CQC report was Good. Our staff wellbeing initiatives and our recognition of the importance of maintaining positive staffing culture in the ED environment, was acknowledged as outstanding by the CQC.

We are looking for an experienced dynamic and motivated paediatric emergency nurse to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality care, is a good team player, a flexible approach and who will bring a positive attitude to the trust. You will have excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve desired outcomes. We take great pride in being part of a top performing Trust and top performing Emergency Department. We are committed to ensuring quality patient care whilst achieving the national emergency department care quality indicators and targets., You will need to be an experienced children's nurse committed to delivering positive outcomes for children and families. The Band 7 post requires 4 years experience in a relevant clinical environment, with a minimum of 2 years Children's ED experience, and evidence of further professional development. If you possess great communication skills, enjoy working under pressure to provide safe, effective care, and demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills aimed at developing and supporting junior members of staff, we want to hear from you!!
