Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed clinic clerk to join the Paediatric Outpatients Team at East Surrey Hospital/ Crawley hospital. The post holder will join a flexible and enthusiastic team in a forward thinking department who are committed to working as 'one team' for the benefit of the patients. In addition acts as an information resource to both patients and staff on relevant issues. To work as a member of the team responsible for providing administrative support. To work with staff of all disciplines on the unit and throughout the hospital to ensure an efficient service. To work inline with hospital policies and procedures and accept responsibility for other duties within the unit as required. You would be an integral member of the healthcare team contributing to the smooth running and efficiency of the unit.

We provide emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill; a community of over 535,000 people. We provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services.
