Full Job Description

As a Paediatric, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in South Powys your role will be to be a leader of a small team of Specialist therapists delivering excellent services to a huge variety of patients in the rural context of Powys., To provide physiotherapy to babies, children and young people in South Powys. To provide supportive and strong leadership as part of the senior clinical leadership team ensuring there is equity of support and strategic direction for the team across a widely dispersed team. To provide advanced physiotherapy care in multiple settings and using mediums such as Rebound Therapy, aqua therapy, .serial casting, neurologically specific handling, exercise programmes depending on the needs of the person and the clinical need.

Promote and demonstrate the right leadership culture.

Assist the Head of service.

Be responsible for the physiotherapy within the designated area.

Provide supervision, performance manage, appraisal of designated staff.

Use active audit cycles to ensure effective improvements and quality assurance.

Ensure high levels of clinical practice.

Strong leadership skills and ability to upskill and network will be essential as you navigate complex care, rurality and diverse speciality as an autonomous practitioner., Applicants are invited to apply in Welsh, any application submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application made in English.
