The Medicine and Emergency Care Division are pleased to announce a Paediatric ED Clinical Skills Facilitator post within the Practice Development Team. We are looking to recruit Band 6 Clinical Skills Facilitator (CSF) to work alongside and report to the band 7 Practice Development Nurses from this Division. These exciting positions would suit a candidate who has recent acute clinical experience who would like to gain experience and development in delivering supervision and education to clinical staff., The Practice Development Team leads on a number of initiatives which focus on person centred and evidence-based care. Committed to the recruitment and retention of staff, they are dedicated to ensuring that teams work effectively together in innovative and forward thinking environments. We are searching for candidates who have a natural drive for improvement, with the right personal attributes to support varying levels of learners within our clinical areas. These valued team members will work to provide support to a range of clinical staff. Areas of scope to include:
- Supporting new starters, including overseas and return to practice nurses.
- Clinical skills teaching
- Recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Professional development
- Supporting learners within the clinical environment
