Southampton Children's Hospital is looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic Paediatric nurse to join our Paediatric Long Term Ventilation Team.

You will be a core member of the team, involved in all aspects of Long-Term Ventilation including initiation of ventilation (both mask and tracheostomy), outpatient reviews (both in the hospital and community setting), supporting nurse-led clinics as well as educating and training patients, their families and carers.There will be opportunities to participate in our regional and local LTV study days and potentially present at relevant conferences.This is a small, friendly and inclusive team. We encourage regular clinical supervision and will support with opportunities for ongoing development and leadership experience. The Childrens Hospital has clear and robust pathways for undertaking Master's level studies and we will actively support you achieving the Physical Assessment and History Taking module at Masters level.Attached you will find the person specification document which provides more detail about the essential and desirable skills and experience needed for this role.
