Full Job Description
To provide visible, credible professional clinical leadership, supporting the clinical management of children with mental health conditions and eating disorders who have been admitted on to the inpatient ward. Support effective liaison with CAMHS and Eating Disorder teams as required for the CYP fit for immediate discharge from ED and provide effective safety netting advice.Improve the quality of care for children and young people experiencing mental problems whilst they are being cared for at their Trust.To support the integration of mental health care with physical health care. To provide effective liaison between the local medical, CAMHS and Eating Disorder teams. To support the Ward Manger with clinical and managerial responsibility for the clinical area.,

- Information resources To support the wider Paediatric nursing and medical team, by arranging training opportunities to up-skill all professionals on effectively managing young people's mental health needs. To collate and submit data as part of the network/national mental health submissions requirements.
