Paediatric Nurse for Community Children's Nursing Services

Adopting a family centred approach, the post holder will work in co-production with families and close collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that the child / young person receives a high standard of nursing care. We are a dynamic team providing high quality nursing care to children and young people within the community, including the patient's own home / respite facilities, the special needs schools, Childrens outpatient clinics and the expanding clinical workload within care closer to home.

The successful candidate will be required to work a mixture of day and night shifts. The CCNS have a robust induction programme and training opportunities. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and / or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply., Essential Recent paediatric experience Desirable
• Experience working within the acute and community settings.
• Experience in working with children with complex healthcare needs.
Knowledge & Skills Essential
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
• Previous experience of working within a team
• Basic knowledge of child protection
Desirable Evidence of teaching skills,
• Ability to deliver care in an informal setting
