Full Job Description

Southampton Children's Hospital (SCH) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced paediatric haematology-oncology nurse to join our team of clinical nurse specialists. You will have the opportunity to develop specialist clinical skills within paediatric malignant haematology.

Southampton is one of 21 Principle Treatment Centre's (PTC) in the UK providing advancing cancer treatments for CYP with malignant conditions, who live in the Wessex region. Our MASCC accredited oncology unit offers 12 acute beds and 3 day case beds.

As a core member of the paediatric oncology multidisciplinary team, you will provide effective leadership, information, clinical advice and support to children and their families with a haematological malignancy. You will provide holistic care from diagnosis, throughout treatment, into long term follow up and during palliative and end of life care, as required.
