Paediatric Sister / Charge Nurse - Emergency Department

To co-ordinate and provide skilled nursing (without direct supervision) to paediatricpatients, in accordance with responsibilities under the NMC Code of Conduct.To effectively take responsibility for the overall management of the paediatricdepartment, maintaining patient care and patient flows in accordance withperformance targets.To escalate delays in the delivery of care and management of patients, inaccordance with Trust Escalation Procedures, to meet National PerformanceTargets.

To prioritise care needs, ensuring the delivery of a quality service through effectiveleadership and efficient deployment of available resourcesTo contribute to the continued development of nursing, including the supervision ofjunior nurses and support staff.To demonstrate clinical expertise and be effective role model

Are you Band 5 Registered Children's Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience or and existing Band 6 RCN looking for a challenge? Warwick Emergency Department children's area is a busy, challenging and rewarding area to work within., We are looking for staff who are motivated, enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work within the fast-paced environment of Emergency Medicine. An opportunity has arisen for a band 6 RSCN or dual qualified children's nurses to join our friendly team within the Emergency Department. We have an excellent team of health care professionals dedicated to children's Emergency Care provision and we currently have vacancies for Paediatric Nurses within the Children's area of the Emergency Department.
