Full Job Description

To promote multi-disciplinary patient centred care and take responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care within Wye Valley NHS Trust. Role will include working on Children's Ward, Children's OPD, Paediatric ED and PAU In the absence of senior members take charge of the ward/department on a frequent basis. Various Hours available please enquire.,

  • Support the Ward/Departmental Manager and their deputy in the execution of their role.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate basic leadership skills and participate in the education and supervision of all staff and students.
  • Demonstrate basic leadership skills and participate in the education and supervision of all staff and students.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of national and local professional issues.
  • Demonstrate a valid input to the professional team at Ward/Department level.
  • To undertake family centred care when dealing with the patients and their families.
