An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Staff nurse to join our friendly Paediatric Out-Patient department team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
The post holders will be responsible for the participation and delivery of a variety of clinics services within the out patients department and assisting in the provision of a suitable environment for health education and support to children and parents attending clinics., Working within a busy Paediatric out-patient department, you will care for children aged from 6hrs to 16years, working closely within the multi disciplinary team.

This role is part of the integrated health and social care community across Derbyshire, where there are many opportunities to work across different locations and providers developing new and different skills. Whilst this role is initially based in Chesterfield there may be future opportunities to be based at different locations within the health and social care community which we may talk to you about in the future.

You will be a qualified Staff Nurse with either RSCN/RN Child or RN (and have had experience working with children in an acute health care setting) and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team are essential. You will have significant experience working with children and families in an acute health care setting. Excellent communication skills and team work are essential to this post.
